COVID-19 SAFETY STANDARDS FOR YOGA THERAPY

I HAVE MADE THE VERY TOUGH DECISION TO SUSPEND ALL IN-PERSON CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS. I AM OFFERING A SMALL NUMBER OF IN-PERSON ONE-ON-ONE YOGA THERAPY SESSIONS AS WELL AS VIRTUAL OR ON THE PHONE.

At this time I am not teaching any in-person group yoga classes.

My very first priority is making sure my clients feel safe. I recognize that not everyone reacts the same to situations like we are facing. If you’re uncertain about anything below, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at iam@katlinrobinson.com

My preference for the first session is in person. This can be at my home studio or in your home - provided we can maintain physical distance in that space. At the moment we must wear masks until we are on our mats and then they can be taken off. This will be adjusted to ensure sessions adhere to current and every changing Government of Ontario Regulations. If I am travelling to your home and depending on your location, I may have to add time on to my fees for travel. For follow-up sessions we can continue in-person with the protocol above or we can work over zoom. Any props being used are isolated for 14-days before use and cleaned after use.

In person is helpful for establish a relationship with clients and for me to assess posture and breath. However, it is not essential! If you are more comfortable meeting online then that is what we will do!

If clients are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, if they have been exposed to someone who has Covid-19 in the last 14-days or if they have been asked to self-isolate they must inform me before any in-person sessions. I will cancel all in-person sessions if I am experiencing any of the above.
